Woman Hospitalized after Pedestrian Collision near Washington Avenue
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 29, 2024) – Thursday evening, one woman was critically injured in a pedestrian accident on Yale Street.
Officers responded to the scene just before 8:30 p.m., near Washington Avenue and Decatur Boulevard on January 11th.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the driver of a southbound white pickup-truck that was heading struck the victim near the intersection.
The driver of the pickup-truck immediately fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Responding paramedics transported the woman to UMC in critical condition. Police released an initial description of the pickup as a single-cab, long-bed, newer-model vehicle. At this time, further investigation is still currently underway.
