BREA, CA (February 1, 2024) – Friday evening, one man suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian crash on Imperial Highway.
Officers responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m., near Puente Street.
According to reports, officers were dispatched to a welfare check in the vicinity and located a man lying in the traffic lanes.
Based on the initial investigation, the pedestrian was acting erratically before the incident. Police said the driver who hit the victim stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
