Alexander Rincoln, Jesus Vega, and Joshua Guillen Hurt, Fernando Barajas Killed in Pursuit Crash on Keyes Road [Ceres, CA]
2 Dead, 3 Hospitalized after Pursuit Collision near Geer Road
CERES, CA (January 25, 2024) – Thursday, Alexander Rincoln, Jesus Vega, and Joshua Guillen were hurt and Fernando Barajas died in a crash.
Around 9:00 p.m., officers responded to the scene at the intersection of Keyes and Geer Road.
Per reports, the driver of a Ford Fusion entered Highway 99 during a pursuit and sped past multiple vehicles. The Fusion then collided with a 2016 Ford Mustang at the intersection of Geer Road.
The driver and the front-seat passenger of the Fusion were ejected upon impact, leaving them with fatal injuries. The relatives of the deceased front-seat passenger later identified him as Fernando Barajas.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported two other passengers – identified as 24-year-old Alexander Rincoln and 18-year-old Jesus Vega – to a hospital with major injuries.
Responding medical personnel also transported the 17-year-old Mustang driver, identified as Joshua Guillen of Hughson, to a hospital with serious injuries.
