64-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Bay Avenue

MORENO VALLEY, CA (February 7, 2024) – Early Tuesday morning, David Ristow was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on Perris Boulevard.

Shortly after 5:00 a.m., officers responded to the scene just south of Bay Avenue.

Based on the initial investigation, a southbound Isuzu Trooper struck a pedestrian who was crossing Perris. The driver immediately pulled over and waited for first responders to arrive. 

Medical personnel later declared the man deceased at the scene. Authorities identified the victim as 64-year-old David Ristow. 

Meanwhile, the driver remained uninjured. Those who witnessed the incident are encouraged to contact the Moreno Valley station sheriffs at 951-486-6700. Once available, more details will be provided.
