54-Year-Old Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Speeding Accident on FM 2694
SHELBY COUNTY, TX (February 1, 2024) – Barbra Jackson died Monday morning, in a solo-car crash on Farm-to-Market Road 2694.
Officers responded to the scene around 8:10 a.m., on January 15th.
Per reports, the driver of a 2020 Jeep SUV was traveling at high speeds and lost control before crashing into two trees. Upon impact, the vehicle caught fire.
First responders extricated the female driver from the burning vehicle. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced 54-year-old Jackson, Shelbyville dead at the scene.
Emergency personnel shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during clearing operations.
