Male Cyclist Fatally Struck in DUI Collision on San Jacinto Street [Hemet, CA]
Man Pronounced Dead after DUI Bicycle Accident near El Nita Lane
HEMET, CA (January 26, 2024) – Early Saturday evening, one male cyclist was fatally struck in a DUI collision on San Jacinto Street.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m., near El Nita Lane after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
Per reports, the driver of a northbound vehicle struck a male bicyclist in the area. Upon impact, the cyclist became trapped underneath the vehicle.
Paramedics arrived and transported the male bicyclist to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Officers have not yet released his identity.
