Auto-Pedestrian Collision Near Oxnard Boulevard Left 35-Year-Old Man Injured

OXNARD, CA (January 25, 2024) – Early Saturday evening, a man was sent to a hospital following a pedestrian crash on Wooley Road.

Police responded to the collision around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Wooley Road and Oxnard Boulevard. 

Upon arrival, the officers located the man lying on the roadway suffering from serious injuries.

According to the police, a westbound Chevrolet Avalanche hit the pedestrian for unknown reasons. 

Medical responders transported the pedestrian to Centura County Medical Center where he remained in unspecified condition. 

Meanwhile, the 48-year-old driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Authorities do not suspect speed or impairment to be a factor in the collision.
