Multiple Vehicles Collided near Shea Boulevard that Killed One Woman

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (January 25, 2024) – On Tuesday afternoon, police responded to a multi-car crash near 84th Street and Shea Boulevard.

On January 16th, the Scottsdale Police Department received a report about a collision involving multiple vehicles.

Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Furthermore, multiple people needed extrication, and crews were dispatched to the scene to free the occupants.

Unfortunately, one adult female was pronounced dead at the scene and authorities have yet to release her identity.

At this time, speed and impairment were ruled out as a factor in the incident, and an active investigation is still ongoing.
