Man Dies in DUI Motorcycle Collision on Crows Landing Road [Modesto, CA]
Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident near Ehrlich Road
MODESTO, CA (January 18, 2024) – Saturday evening, one man was killed in a DUI motorcycle collision on Crows Landing Road.
Authorities responded to the scene around 8:00 p.m., near Ehrlich Road.
Per reports, the driver of a southbound 2005 Chevrolet Silverado failed to yield the right of way and made a left turn. As a result, a northbound red 2020 Harley-Davidson Heritage struck the right side of the pickup-truck.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the 46-year-old Modesto man riding the motorcycle, dead at the scene.
The 47-year-old man from Patterson driving the Silverado remained unharmed. Authorities booked the pickup driver into Stanislaus County jail for felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, more details will be provided about the fatal motorcycle collision on Crows Landing Road.
