Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Crash Near Grant Line Road

TRACY, CA (January 23, 2024) – Sunday morning, a two-vehicle crash on Corral Hollow Road left an officer hospitalized.

At around 6:00 a.m., officers responded to a reported stolen vehicle in the area of Corral Hollow and Grant Line Road.

According to the police, a Toyota ran past a red light and collided with a patrol SUV traveling southbound.

At the time of the crash, the officer was responding without emergency lights and sirens. Responding emergency personnel extricated the Toyota driver from the wreckage.

Paramedics transported both the driver and the officer to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
