Juvenile Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident near Pacific Coast Highway
REDONDO BEACH, CA (January 16, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a motorcycle collision on Carnelian Street left one dead.
The incident happened shortly after 2:17 p.m., near Pacific Coast Highway.
According to reports, a southbound motorcycle crashed into a vehicle that was turning at the intersection. Responding authorities discovered the unresponsive rider lying on the street.
Despite life-saving efforts, the young boy succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol to be a factor in the collision.
