Officers Attacked while Several People Hospitalized in Vehicle Accident

ANTIOCH, CA (January 23, 2024) – On Saturday evening, a car crash on Bailey Road injured five people, police said.

According to the authorities, a sideshow happened in the area where a vehicle occupied by five people fled and evaded the authorities.

Consequently, the vehicle slammed into a concrete wall near the Pittsburg and Bay Point border. All five occupants suffered injuries, and paramedics transported them all to the hospital.

Before the incident, the police officers were attacked at the sideshow. Several participants were arrested but it was unknown how many were taken to jail.
