Woman Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision on Sepulveda Boulevard [Los Angeles, CA]

Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Century Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 23, 2023) – One woman sustained fatal injuries early Thursday, in a pedestrian collision on Sepulveda Boulevard. 

The incident occurred around 12:05 a.m., near Century Boulevard and LAX.

Investigators say the driver of a dark-colored Chevrolet SUV was heading south and struck a woman who was walking outside of a marked crosswalk.

The driver then fled the scene without contacting police. Despite life-saving efforts, medics later pronounced the female pedestrian dead at the scene. Authorities only described the deceased victim as a woman in her early 20s. 

At this time, the city of Los Angeles is offering a reward of up to $50,000 to anyone who can lead the authorities to the arrest of the suspect. Those with additional information about the pedestrian collision on Sepulveda Boulevard are encouraged to contact the LAPD at 213-473-0234.
