30-Year-Old Woman Dies in Two-Vehicle Accident near 124th Avenue Southeast

KENT, WA (January 15, 2024) – Early Saturday morning, one woman suffered fatal injuries in a 2-car accident on Southeast 256th Street.

The incident occurred just before 2:00 a.m., near 124th Avenue Southeast on December 30th.

For DUI suspected reasons, two vehicles collided near the intersection. Officers described the vehicles as a Toyota Rav4 and a Dodge Challenger.

Upon arrival, first responders located a 30-year-old woman who was ejected onto the road. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, crews pronounced her dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old driver of the Dodge and the 31-year-old driver of the Toyota suffered various injuries.

Following initial procedures, authorities determined that both drivers exhibited signs of impairment, and the result of a blood test is still pending.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information about the 2-car accident on Southeast 256th Street is still currently underway.
