Two-Vehicle Crash near North Texas Parkway Left Innocent Driver Injured
FAIRFIELD, CA (January 4, 2024) – Friday afternoon, the police arrested Samuel Vodden following a two-vehicle collision on Airbase Parkway.
Police started to pursue a reportedly stolen vehicle at 2:00 p.m. on North Texas Street and Airbase Parkway out of Napa.
According to the report, the officers tried to pull over the vehicle at 300 East Tabor Avenue. However, the vehicle refused to stop, initiating the chase.
Subsequently, the suspect crashed into another vehicle traveling on East Travis and Rayburn Court. Police said the two occupants of the stolen vehicle fled on foot.
Responding medical personnel transported the innocent driver involved to a hospital after a knee injury.
Authorities also managed to arrest the stolen vehicle driver, 32-year-old Samuel Vodden. Vodden was medically cleared and booked into county jail for unspecified charges.
