High School Basketball Coach Dead, 7 Injured in Auto Collision near North Kilroy Road
TURLOCK, CA (January 3, 2024) – Friday afternoon, a multi-vehicle crash on West Christoffersen Parkway claimed the life of John Williams.
The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m., near North Kilroy Road.
At this time, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that three vehicles were involved.
Medics arrived and took seven victims to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Due to the extent of their condition, crews later pronounced one of the victims dead at the hospital.
On Tuesday, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased victim as 48-year-old John Williams. Williams was a basketball coach at Turlock High School with over 20 years of experience.
The Turlock High School started a GoFundMe page to help raise money for William’s family.
