Car Collision near Little Morongo Road Left Three People Injured
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (January 4, 2024) – Friday evening, three people were sent to a hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Pierson Boulevard.
Police responded to the collision around 5:20 p.m. along Pierson Blvd, near Little Morongo Road and Atlantic Avenue.
Based on the initial investigation, a gray sedan drove into the opposing lanes for unknown reasons and collided with an oncoming blue truck.
Eventually, medical responders arrived at the scene and transported the sedan driver to a hospital after being found unconscious. Police only identified the driver as a 73-year-old Desert Hot Springs resident.
Meanwhile, the driver and the passenger of the blue truck, both 46 years old, were also hospitalized for minor injuries.
Desert Hot Springs Officials closed both lanes of Pierson Boulevard for investigation until 9:30 p.m.
