Jeff Manalo, Melinda Manalo Killed in Multi-Car Crash near Charleston Boulevard [Las Vegas, NV]
40-Year-Old Man and 64-Year-Old Woman Dead in Multi-Vehicle Accident near Nellis Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 2, 2024) – On Sunday afternoon, a multi-vehicle accident claimed the lives of Jeff Manalo and Melinda Manalo.
The fatal incident happened on December 24 just before 1:30 p.m. near Charleston and Nellis Boulevards, involving four vehicles.
According to the LVMPD, the collision involved a Mazda 3 occupied by 40-year-old Jeff and 65-year-old Melinda, a 2008 Toyota Sienna, a 2002 Ford F-150, and a 2013 Cadillac STX.
Investigation showed that the Mazda ran over a red light and swerved to avoid hitting a pedestrian crossing in an unmarked crosswalk.
As a result, Jeff veered over to the opposite lanes and struck the three other vehicles. It came to rest on a south sidewalk of Charleston Boulevard.
Furthermore, both Jeff and Melinda suffered serious injuries which later led to their deaths. Police pronounced them dead at the scene.
Moreover, at least five occupants of the three vehicles suffered non-life-threatening wounds including a 6-year-old boy and 10-year-old girl. They were transported to UMC for treatment.
Consequently, the authorities blocked Charleston Boulevard between Nellis Boulevard and Arlington Street during the length of the incident, and it has been reopened since.
No words can mend the broken hearts and sorrow felt during this delicate moment. Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with the family and friends of Jeff Manalo and Melinda Manalo.
