44-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Head-On Accident near Hillcrest Drive

WACO, TX (December 26, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a deadly head-on collision claimed the life of Kenneth Caufield.

Authorities responded to the 4900 block of Lake Shore Drive around 3:00 p.m., on December 15th.

Per reports, 44-year-old Caufield was driving west near Hillcrest Drive when he veered onto the eastbound lanes. There, he collided head-on with another vehicle driven by a woman.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced Caufield dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics took the female driver of the other vehicle to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
