30-Year-Old Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident
COMANCHE, TX (December 26, 2023) – On Friday morning, police responded to a deadly crash that killed Sergio Vasquez Cardona.
The incident occurred on December 8th around 7:45 a.m. in the area of US Highway 67 involving a Dodge Ram and a Ford pickup.
Upon investigation, the troopers determined that the Dodge was driven by 30-year-old Cardona, who lost control of his vehicle in the westbound lanes and collided with the Ford.
As a result, both drivers sustained serious injuries but Cardona succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
Furthermore, the driver of the Ford was transported to the hospital for treatment of his serious injuries.
The authorities added that Cardona and the Ford driver were wearing their seatbelt during the collision. Further investigation is still active.
