One Killed, Three Injured in Car Crash on Loop 360 [Austin, TX]
Pinned Victim Dies in Vehicle Collision near Stoneridge Road
AUSTIN, TX (December 18, 2023) – On Thursday afternoon, police were called to a crash on Loop 360 that killed one person.
The incident happened on December 7th around 12:40 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Stoneridge Road involving two vehicles.
Upon arriving, the Austin-Travis County EMS located one person pinned between the vehicles. They immediately extricated that person, and an update stated that they succumbed to their injuries and died.
Furthermore, three other occupants were injured in the collision, wherein two of them refused to be transported to the hospital.
Consequently, the authorities blocked the southbound lanes of the highway and motorists were advised to seek other routes.
Moreover, the authorities have yet to release the identities of the involved parties in the collision, and further investigation is currently ongoing.
