David Perez Dies, Kendall Crump Hurt in Semi-Truck Accident on US Highway 84 [Littlefield, TX]
32-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Big-Rig Collision near South Loop 430
LITTLEFIELD, TX (December 18, 2023) – Sunday evening, David Perez was killed in a semi-truck accident on US Highway 84.
Around 8:00 p.m., police responded to the scene near South Loop 430 on December 3rd.
Officers say Perez was driving a vehicle when he failed to yield at a stop sign. As a result, Perez drove directly into the path of a westbound semi-truck, driven by 31-year-old Kendall Crump.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced 32-year-old Perez, of Lubbock dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics took Crump to Lamb County Healthcare Center for treatment of minor injuries. No additional information was released, and an active investigation is still ongoing.
