Devin Wold Dead, Sherry Ann Parsons Arrested after Wrong-Way Crash on North Shepherd Drive [Houston, TX]
34-Year-Old Man Killed in DUI Collision near West 7th Street
HOUSTON, TX (December 16, 2023) – Late Thursday evening, Devin Wold was killed and Sherry Ann Parsons was arrested after a wrong-way crash.
Police responded to the scene around 11:35 p.m., at the 700 block of North Shepherd Drive on November 30th.
According to reports, 32-year-old Parsons was driving a white Mitsubishi Outlander north on the southbound lanes. There, she collided head-on with a southbound white Volkswagen Jetta near West 7th Street.
Medical personnel later pronounced the driver of the Jetta, 34-year-old Wold dead at the scene. Meanwhile, Parsons sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and paramedics transported her to a nearby hospital.
Following preliminary duties, police determined that Parsons had a BAC above .206. On Monday, December 4th, officers booked Parsons into the Harris County Jail with charges of intoxication manslaughter.
