One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on West Capitol Avenue [West Sacramento, CA]
Car Collision near Westacre Road Left 1 Dead, 3 Injured
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (December 27, 2023) – Monday night, a two-vehicle crash on West Capitol Avenue left one person dead and three others hospitalized.
Officials received reports of the collision around 9:20 p.m. in the area of West Capitol Avenue and Westacre Road.
At this time, the circumstances that led up to the collision remain unclear. However, authorities claimed that an Audi, a Toyota, and, a pedestrian were involved in the incident.
Responding emergency personnel discovered four people at the scene. Unfortunately, the Audi driver sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics rushed two other people to a hospital in critical condition and a pedestrian for minor injuries.
Sacramento officials will provide the identity of the deceased driver once the next of kin has been notified.
