Multi-Vehicle Crash near Road 204 Resulted in Fatality

TULARE COUNTY, CA (December 13, 2023) – Sunday evening, a three-vehicle crash near Avenue 196 left one person dead and four others hospitalized. 

The fatal collision occurred in the area of Avenue 196 and Road 204 near Plainview. 

Unfortunately, the first responders declared one person dead at the scene. Their identity remains undisclosed to the public, pending notification from the next of kin. 

Meanwhile, three other people suffered significant injuries and another one sustained minor injuries. All injured patients were transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

At this time, the Tulare County Fire is asking motorists to avoid the area as the CHP conducts an investigation.
