29-Year-Old Female Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident near Oak Street
PHOENIX, AZ (December 13, 2023) – Monday evening, Taylor Tobias was killed in a motorcycle collision on 36th Street.
Around 9:00 p.m., officers responded to the intersection near Oak Street on December 4th.
Investigators say 29-year-old Tobias was heading north on 36th Street when the driver of a vehicle made a left turn in front of the rider. First responders located Tobias down on the road with serious injuries.
Paramedics arrived and transported Tobias to a nearby hospital where they later passed away.
Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle remained uninjured, and stayed at the scene to cooperate with the investigation. During preliminary duties, officers evaluated the driver who displayed no signs of impairment.
