64-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Pedestrian Accident near North Raguet Street

LUFKIN, TX (December 11, 2023) – Tuesday evening, Robert Green was airlifted to a hospital after a pedestrian collision on West Frank Avenue.

Authorities responded to the 600 block of West Frank Avenue near North Raguet Street around 9:00 p.m., on December 5th.

Per reports, 36-year-old Jesus Perez was driving a Nissan Altima east and struck Green as he was walking in the area.

Paramedics arrived and airlifted 64-year-old Green to a nearby hospital where he is expected to recover. Medics also say Perez did not sustain injuries and remained at the scene.

Emergency personnel closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
