Cynthia Melissa Campana Pronounced Dead after Fiery Crash on San Francisquito Canyon Road [Los Angeles County, CA]

Two-Vehicle Collision near Pelton Street Left One Dead, One Injured
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA (December 4, 2023) – Monday evening, a fiery collision on San Francisquito Canyon Road claimed the life of Cynthia Melissa Campana.
The deadly crash occurred around 5:11 p.m. at San Francisquito Canyon Road, near Pelton Street and Green Valley.
According to CHP, a northbound 2016 white Dodge Ram 1500 crossed the solid double-yellow lines for unknown reasons.
As a result, the Dodge collided with a southbound 2017 Honda CR-V on San Francisquito Canyon Rd.
Unfortunately, the Honda CR-V driver sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The coroner’s office later identified the deceased driver as 31-year-old Cynthia Melissa Campana of Valencia.
The Dodge Ram driver, 41-year-old Manuel Rosas Aguilar of Lancaster suffered significant injuries. Additionally, Aguilar’s pickup truck resting in the southbound lanes started to catch on fire after the crash. The road was reopened sometime later after debris was cleared.
His 27-year-old male passenger received minor injuries. The CHP closed down both lanes of San Francisquito Canyon Road for at least two hours as crews cleared the scene.
