Mark Borboa Arrested Following DUI Crash on 12th Avenue [Hanford, CA]
Three Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 198
HANFORD, CA (December 6, 2023) – Friday night, police arrested Mark Borboa after a suspected DUI collision on 12th Avenue.
The incident was reported around 9:30 p.m. in the area of 12th Avenue and Highway 198.
Based on the witnesses’ accounts, a vehicle ran past a red light along the eastbound highway off-ramp.
As a result, the vehicle collided with a 19-year-old driving an Audi with a 16-year-old passenger.
Medical responders transported both teens to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Their names have not been disclosed.
Further investigation revealed that the driver of the first vehicle was intoxicated at the time of the crash. 68-year-old Mark Borboa is currently facing felony DUI charges.
