Christopher Gibson Arrested after Fatal Scooter Crash on Sunset Boulevard [Los Angeles, CA]
32-Year-Old Man Killed in Scooter Vs Car Collision near Edgecliffe Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 4, 2023) – Christopher Gibson turned himself in after a fatal scooter crash on Sunset Boulevard, Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred around 1:10 a.m., near Edgecliffe Avenue on November 7th.
Per reports, the driver of a westbound 2011 Mazda 3 hit a 32-year-old man riding a scooter. The Mazda driver then continued heading west on Sunset Boulevard before heading south on Lucile Avenue.
Responding medical personnel transported the 32-year-old man to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. However, his identity remains undisclosed to the public.
In the end, the suspected – identified as 31-year-old Christopher Gibson– turned himself into the LAPD. Officials arrested and booked Gibson in the Metropolitan Detention Center for suspicion of felony hit-and-run. His bail is set to $100,000.
