Three-Vehicle Collision Near Barranca Avenue Left One Dead, 3 Others Injured

COVINA, CA (December 4, 2023) – Monday evening,  Jessica Ottaviano and two other people were transported to a hospital after a deadly crash on Arrow Highway. 

The CHP responded to the collision around 9:27 p.m. along Arrow Highway near Barranca Avenue. 

Based on the initial investigation, a 2001 Audi A4 lost control while traveling westbound on Arrow. 

As a result, the Audi veered into the eastbound lanes and collided with a 2012 Hyundai Accent and a Mazda 3. 

The 60-year-old San Dimas man driving the Audi sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. However, his name remains undisclosed to the public, pending notification from the next of kin. 

Responding emergency personnel transported the Hyundai driver to Pomona Valley Hospital for serious injuries. She was later identified as 39-year-old Jessica Ottaviano of Pomona. 

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old Mazda driver Estephanie Padilla and his 14-year-old girl passenger sustained minor injuries. The two Mazda occupants did not require medical treatment.
