SAN ANTONIO, TX (November 28, 2023) – On Wednesday evening, police responded to a pedestrian crash on the Highway 281 access road.
Furthermore, the San Antonio Police stated that the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. in front of the Hooters restaurant, near Embassy Oaks.
According to the troopers, an SUV was driven by a woman headed southbound on Frontage Road when she crashed into a curb, causing her vehicle to overturn four to five times.
Meanwhile, a man walking along the sidewalk with bags of groceries got struck by the SUV. The man then suffered significant injuries and first responders transported him to the hospital where he was expected to survive.
Moreover, the driver remained at the scene and was interviewed by the authorities. She was then released together with her family. No charges were pressed at this time, and the crash is still under investigation.
