Male Rider Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Uvas Road [Morgan Hill, CA]
68-Year-Old Los Gatos Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident near Watsonville Road
MORGAN HILL, CA (November 27, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, a motorcycle crash on Uvas Road fatally injured a male motorcyclist.
The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m., at the intersection of Uvas and Watsonville Road, near Morgan Hill.
According to a witness, the male rider of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle failed to yield at a posted stop sign while heading east on Uvas. The male rider then turned northbound onto Watsonville Road where he collided with a southbound Toyota Camry.
The male rider and his 60-year-old female passenger were ejected from the motorcycle onto the road. The 68-year-old man Los Gatos man operating the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, responding paramedics rushed his female passenger to Valley Medical Center for treatment of significant injuries. Authorities also said the driver of the Camry was unharmed.
