Steven Rosenberg Dead Following DUI Crash on Interstate 90 [Sprague, WA]
20-Year-Old Man Dies in a Fatal DUI Accident
SPRAGUE, WA (November 27, 2023) – On Saturday at noon, police responded to a DUI crash that killed Steven Rosenberg.
The incident happened on November 11th just before 12:30 p.m. in the area of Interstate 90 involving only a 2003 Toyota Tundra.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the Tundra was driven by 42-year-old Thomas J. Monaghan with his passenger, 20-year-old Steven D. Rosenberg.
Upon investigation, the officers learned that they were headed eastbound when Thomas veered off the road and struck construction barrels, he went back to the lanes and overcorrected.
Furthermore, they crossed onto the eastbound lanes before hitting a median and rolling over. Both Thomas and Steven were ejected from the Tundra due to not wearing a seatbelt.
Unfortunately, Steven was pronounced dead at the scene and Thomas sustained injuries. Responding paramedics transported Thomas to Sacred Heart Medical Center for treatment.
Moreover, DUI charges on Thomas are still pending at this time. Further investigation is currently underway.
No words can mend the broken hearts and sorrow felt during this delicate moment. Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with the family and friends of Steven Rosenberg.
