41-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Wrong-Way Collision near Cuney
CHEROKEE COUNTY, TX (November 22, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, Sabrina Gray was killed and Pete Garner was hurt in a on Highway 175.
The incident occurred around 5:26 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway near Cuney.
Officers say Gray was driving a 2016 Dodge Dart on the oncoming lane. As a result, the Dodge struck a 2012 Ford F-150 that was hauling a trailer, driven by Garner.
The impact ejected 41-year-old Gray, of Cuney from the Dodge onto the road. Paramedics arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene.
At this time, Cherokee County Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash. Once available, further details will be provided.
