23-Year-Old Woman Dead, 34-Year-Old Man Injured in Head-On Crash near Southwest City View Street
SEATTLE, WA (November 22, 2023) – Late Saturday evening, police were called to a head-on collision near Southwest Admiral Way.
The incident took place near the intersection of Southwest Admiral Way and Southwest City View Street around 11:30 p.m., November 4th.
Upon arriving, the officers found two vehicles with significant damages. Investigation showed that a silver Camaro driven by a 23-year-old woman and a blue Toyota 4Runner driven by a 34-year-old man were involved in the collision.
Furthermore, the Camaro was traveling northbound on South Admiral Way at high speeds while the Toyota headed southbound.
Moreover, the woman lost control and went into the southbound lanes. As a result, she collided head-on with the Toyota.
Consequently, firefighters arrived at the scene to extricate the woman from her Camaro.
Authorities transported her to the hospital with serious injuries, but died later on.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota sustained injuries and he was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Additionally, a large portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
