One Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Accident on Myrtle Avenue
GLENDALE, AZ (November 13, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, Leodany Hernandez-Reyes died in a traffic collision on Grand Avenue.
At around 4:00 p.m., a car and a motorcycle collided near Grand and Myrtle Avenues.
According to authorities, Hernandez-Reyes died at the scene due to the serious impact of the crash.
Furthermore, the police say the woman driving the car involved stayed on the scene. She also cooperated with the investigators.
Meanwhile, no impairment is suspected at this time. The crash also affected the traffic in the area but all lanes reopened just after 4:30 a.m. Friday.
A large portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the street has since been reopened.
An active investigation is still ongoing. Authorities will release additional information as it becomes available to the public.
