Speeding Vehicle Crash near Clovis Avenue Kills 26-Year-Old Man 

CLOVIS, CA (November 8, 2023) – Wednesday night, a speeding car accident on Shaw Avenue took the life of Fabian Garcia. 

Around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to multiple 911 calls regarding a speeding vehicle in the area. While en route, the driver sideswiped another vehicle and crashed into a wall on Shaw Avenue, just west of Pollasky Avenue.

Responding officers eventually arrived at the scene and located the vehicle engulfed in flames against the walk. The officers then extricated the driver by breaking the passenger window. 

Despite the life-saving efforts of the first responders, the driver succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. 

Later, the Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased driver as 26-year-old Fabian Garcia of Clovis. 

Authorities are asking anyone with additional information about the high-speed crash to contact the Clovis Police Department as soon as possible.
