Female Driver Pronounced Dead after Stolen-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 249

TOMBALL, TX (November 7, 2023) – Friday afternoon, one woman was pronounced dead after a pursuit collision on Grand Parkway.

The incident occurred around 2:54 p.m., near State Highway 290 on October 27th.

Officers received reports of a stolen Ford F-250 vehicle that was located. As a result, crews attempted to stop the vehicle when the pursuit ensued.

About 14 minutes later, the suspect exited the highway onto a feeder road. About two minutes later, the suspect vehicle t-boned another vehicle on the driver’s side.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced the female driver of the vehicle that was hit dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the suspect was rushed to a nearby hospital. Deputies arrested the 29-year-old suspect who possibly will face charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, and vehicular manslaughter.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
