Omar Moreno Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash on South Nogales Highway [Tucson, AZ]
37-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Solo-Car Accident near Aero Park Boulevard
TUCSON, AZ (November 2, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, Omar Moreno was killed in a single-vehicle crash on South Nogales Highway.
Authorities responded to the scene around 2:10 p.m., at the 10000 block of South Nogales Highway on October 28th.
Following preliminary duties, authorities determined that Moreno had a medical emergency while driving. He then went off road, crashed into a fence, and ended up in mounds of dirt after it rolled over.
Upon arrival, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department found 37-year-old Moreno dead inside his vehicle. No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
Moreover, police stated that speed or impairment did not play a role in the incident. At this time, an active investigation is still ongoing.
