Pedestrian Accident near Glenn Anderson Freeway Resulted in Fatality
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 1, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a pedestrian-truck collision on Interstate 110 in south Los Angeles claimed the life of one person.
Officials received reports of the incident around 9:14 a.m. along the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway, under I-105.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation. Investigators claimed that a northbound big rig truck hit a pedestrian on the interchange of I-110, directly under Glenn Anderson Freeway.
Unfortunately, the first responders declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. However, the identities of the people involved in the incident have not been disclosed to the public.
In the end, officials issued a SigAlert for lanes 2, 3, and 4 as crews cleared the scene. However, the roadway was reopened to the public shortly after.
