Giovanni Hermosillo Falcon Killed in Dump-Truck Crash on 35th Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
24-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Accident near Lower Buckeye Road
PHOENIX, AZ (November 1, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, Giovanni Hermosillo Falcon was killed in a dump-truck crash on 35th Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene around 4:30 a.m., near Lower Buckeye Road on October 28th.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of an SUV and a 10-wheeler dump-truck collided in the area. Upon arrival, first responders located both vehicles with extensive damage.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the SUV driver, 24-year-old Falcon deceased.
Meanwhile, the driver of the dump-truck did not sustain any injuries. He remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Following preliminary duties, officers believe that speed was a contributing factor. Emergency crews closed off 35th Avenue between Lower Buckeye Road and Durango Street.
No additional information was added by the authorities and further investigation is currently underway.
