Suspect Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Accident near Martha Lane

FORT WORTH, TX (November 2, 2023) – Friday evening, a driver was fatally struck while attempting to flee a collision on Loop 820.

Around 8:00 p.m., police responded to the scene at the 2110 block of Northwest Loop 820 near Martha Lane on October 20th.

Per reports, a driver exited their vehicle and attempted to run away from a crash. There, the driver of a passing vehicle struck the pedestrian.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medical personnel later pronounced the man dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided about the fatal collision on Loop 820.
