Passenger Killed, Multiple Injured in Two-Car Collision near Redondo Beach Boulevard

GARDENA, CA (October 26, 2023) – Early Monday evening, one passenger suffered fatal injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Berendo Avenue.

The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m., near Redondo Beach Boulevard on October 2nd.

Per reports, the collision involved a red Mitsubishi and a blue Ford Mustang. Officers say one of the vehicles made an unsafe turn which caused the crash.

Medics arrived and took multiple occupants to a nearby hospital where one passenger from inside the Mitsubishi later died.

At this time, the Los Angeles County Department Medical Examiner has not yet released the identity of the deceased victim. Once available, further details will be provided.
