Motorcyclist Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash Near Palm Avenue
FRESNO, CA (October 25, 2023) – On Monday afternoon, a motorcycle-car collision on Bullard Avenue sent one person to a hospital.
Officials received reports of the collision around 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Bullard and Palm Avenues in northwest Fresno.
Based on the police report, a small Honda motorcycle went on the westbound bike lane to pass traffic from the stoplight at Palm Avenue.
At the same time, an eastbound vehicle made a left-hand turn into a shopping center through a gap in the westbound traffic.
Investigators said both vehicles ended up colliding with each other. Police spokesman Christopher Clark claimed that motorcycles are not allowed to use bikes to pass traffic.
Responding emergency personnel transported the motorcyclist to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the eastbound vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
