Fatal Collision on College Street Claimed the Life of 22-Year-Old Motorcyclist

BEAUMONT, TX (October 23, 2023) – A motorcycle accident at Highway 90 on Friday afternoon killed Terry Champeaux II.

The incident happened around 12:41 p.m. on September 29th, on College Street near Reynolds Road.

According to the BPD, a westbound motor-rider lost control and crashed. The rider was identified as 22-year-old Terry Champeaux II of West Orange. Police determined that he failed to wear a helmet, and no other cars were engaged. Champeaux II passed away before an ambulance could take him to a Houston Hospital.

In addition, up until about 3:30 p.m., traffic had to be diverted as the accident underwent investigation.
