Suspected Drunk Driving Vehicle Collision on Northpointe Left One Police Officer Seriously Injured
TOMBALL. TX (October 19, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, a police officer suffered injuries after a suspected DUI car crash on Highway 249.
Per initial reports, the car accident happened around 3 a.m. on September 30th, at Highway 249 at Northpointe.
According to the police, the suspect struck a police car as an officer was carrying out a standard traffic check. Due to the impact of the collision, the officer was thrown onto the roadway, suffering multiple injuries.
Paramedics quickly arrived and transported the wounded man to a nearby medical center for further treatment. However, the deputy’s current status has been determined to be stable.
Meanwhile, the suspected drunk driver has been arrested. Police withheld the identity of both the suspect and the victim.
