Logan Dark Killed in Bicycle Accident on Mason Road [Katy, TX]
14-Year-Old Student Pronounced Dead after Bicycle Collision near Cinco Park
KATY, TX (October 19, 2023) – Early Thursday morning, Logan Dark was fatally struck in a bicycle accident on Mason Road.
Around 6:45 a.m., police responded to the scene near Cinco Park on September 28th.
Per reports, the driver of a vehicle struck 14-year-old Dark as he was riding a bicycle to Cinco Ranch High School within a marked crosswalk.
Medics arrived and pronounced the 14-year -old cyclist dead at the scene. Witnesses attempted to help using CPR. However, medics pronounced him dead due to the extent of injuries sustained.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old driver, Devin Delvalle remained at the site and assisted with the investigation.
Eventually, police took Delvalle into custody and charged him violating the Lisa Torry Smith Act. The roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
