Skateboarder Dies after Being Struck by Vehicle near Prater Way
SPARKS, NV (October 18, 2023) – Friday night, one man lost his life after a vehicle vs skateboard accident on Sparks Boulevard.
Authorities were called to the scene of an accident with a skateboarder and a car along the 500 Block of Sparks Boulevard, at around 10:30 p.m.
First responders quickly acted to treat the seriously injured skateboarder, but he was pronounced dead later at the hospital due to the extent of his injuries.
Additionally, authorities are still unsure of the events leading up to the crash. However, the involved driver stayed to cooperate with law enforcement.
Furthermore, police have yet to release any other information or the identities of anyone involved at this time. An active investigation is currently ongoing.
