Madeline Taylor Cross, Rylan Lee Poggi Pronounced Dead after UTV Accident near 64th Street [Phoenix, AZ]
15-Year-Old and 16-Year-Old Teenagers Killed in Deadly UTV Crash
PHOENIX, AZ (October 17, 2023) – On Thursday afternoon, police responded to a crash that killed Madeline Taylor Cross and Rylan Lee Poggi.
The incident was reported around 2:00 p.m., October 12th, near the area of 64th Street and Pinnacle Peak Road.
According to the Phoenix police, they arrived at the scene and found an overturned UTV on its roof with 15-year-old Cross and 16-year-old Poggi inside. Paramedics quickly attended to both individuals in the crashed vehicle.
Unfortunately, due to the severity of their injuries, they both succumbed to it and the paramedics pronounced them dead at the scene.
Furthermore, the authorities stated that a portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. The roadway has since been reopened. At this time, an active investigation remains.
